But more importantly, the service I receive when I bring my car in for anything from an oil change to having my transmission replaced (yes, my new car needed a new transmission) is always exceptional! It is harder and harder in this day in age to please customers, but I feel that William and the Oakland Acura Team provides this each and every time. I drive 60 miles one way because I deserve to be treated the way your team treats it's customers... you are truly one of a kind.

Do you know why I still keep my 1988 Acura Integra around? It gives me the opportunity to come and visit your Service Shop to meet the "best of the best people". To date, I always tell people if you are going to buy an Acura, don't go elsewhere, go to Oakland Acura, because they have the best technicians and staff around. Look at me, I have been with Oakland Acura since 1988, and I don't even live in Oakland. Experience tells me, no other shop fixes better than Oakland Acura.

Phil Peterson ran the repair shop for over 15 years. Those who know him will strongly agree with me that he is the greatest and most wonderful manager. Now he is the General Manager; Acura Corporation picked the right person for the job!!

I bring my Legend in from (city over 80 miles from OA removed) for servicing and repair. That must speak for itself. Phil Peterson is the best. I have come to trust him and rely upon him. My 1994 Legend just passed 265,000 miles and it seems to be quite reliable due in large part to adhering to the maintenance schedule and Phil's experience in anticipating problems. His knowledge of Acura vehicles is amazing. He deserves a raise in pay.

I just recently purchased my 2003 Acura TL from Oakland Acura and I have to thank their awesome Service Dept. for really taking excellent care of me. I have been to the Service Dept. twice for warranty work and both times I left feeling like I made a good choice making my purchase at this particular dealership.

My first experience with your Service Dept. was with Sandy Sellars. She was very thoughtful, and kept excellent communication with me during the time my car was being repaired. In fact, I was so shocked on how well I was treated, I found myself boasting to my friends.

In all honesty, I never write customer comments, let alone send in customer surveys, but I feel that Sandy should be praised for doing an outstanding job!

There are a few Acura Dealerships much closer to home but I will keep coming back to Oakland Acura!

Both my husband and I have very demanding schedules at work and at home with our 5 kids! I needed to have some rattling and alignment checked out on my MDX just this last Friday as I was going to drive down to LA to pick up my son the following week. I really could not drop off the car to have it serviced as I was going to be late for an early morning meeting. I would also have to cancel my afternoon meetings in order to leave early to pick up the car. Your  advisor seemed to have read my mind (I guess he knows how busy I am from prior experience) and knew that I would be challenged to get my car to the shop given my work schedule. Without me saying a word, he automatically offered to have me drop off my car at his home in Danville (since I live in San Ramon) and pick up the loaner car in the later evening so that I wouldn't have to rush in the AM and cancel meetings. Not only is he a very customer oriented Acura representative, his whole family (wife and kids) is just as genuinely caring and warm as he is!

I had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT (INFORMATION REMOVED) about 9 months ago. My transmission blew out as we were moving my son down to UCLA. (INFORMATION REMOVED)

After owning 2 Acuras ('91 Legend still running strong, and my MDS), 2 Hondas (Accord and Odyssey), I was going to NEVER buy an Acura again based on how I was treated. Your adviser knows what customer recovery is all about! It doesn't take much, just validation, hearing what the customer has to say, and working with them to rectify the problem, which doesn't mean giving in to all customer complaints.

Furthermore, he called me on the same afternoon to inform me about my car's service. When I compare the service I receive to my friends' experiences, it is even
